Connect your device to your computer or use the Garmin Connect mobile app to sync wirelessly. If you have a Garmin device that has a map feature, you can sync it. Name your course and add tags to find it easily. You can click the “Save” button to save your route when you’re done. You can then drag points on the map around if you want to edit the route. Garmin Connect will generate a map for you based on popular running routes in the area. For Automatic, you enter the distance you would like and starting point. ![]() For custom routes, you can begin mapping your route by clicking your start and endpoints on the map, dragging the lines around, and adding points to customize the course. Then you can choose Custom or Automatic to create your course. Select “Running” to start making a running route. Select “Create New” to begin making your route.
